Since launching in early 2012 with our NSW Institute of Teachers’ endorsed professional development courses, we have received multiple requests for in-school professional development delivery.
To continue meeting the needs of performing arts needs and requirements of primary and secondary schools, we are excited that in-school professional development is now available from The Project - Schools Industry Arts.
The same philosophies and principles of our endorsed professional development courses exist will apply to our in-school offerings: The Project - Schools Industry Arts and its tutors are committed to delivering a practical, hands-on learning environment to equip primary and secondary teachers with the skills, confidence, connections and inspiration to deliver outstanding arts education programs through extra-curricular activities and programs that harness dance, drama, music and VET Entertainment syllabuses.
In-school professional development opportunities include tailor made programs in the following areas:
Extra-curricular performing arts program development and delivery.
Syllabus specific training in Music, Dance, VET Entertainment Industry Studies and Drama.
Program development to meet syllabus outcomes.
All programs are tailored and designed by The Project - Schools Industry Arts Directors in consultation with each school we work with, and may vary from one-on-one teacher learning to group learning facilitation and delivery. All presenters are performing arts industry professionals and have extensive experience in school performing arts programs.
